EU complicit in Libya coastguard shooting, senior MEP says

The European Union and member states are criminally complicit in Libya when it comes to migration, said the head of the European Parliament's human rights committee.

"It is really actively complicit in these crimes," said Mounir Satouri, a French Green MEP who chairs the committee, on Friday (5 September).
