Date set for Microsoft's appeal against EU ruling

Microsoft’s appeal against a ruling by the European Commission will be heard at the end of September, the European Court of Justice said on Tuesday.

Microsoft is seeking a suspension of the ruling which found it guilty of a so-called "abuse of dominant market position" and a two-day hearing has been pencilled for the 30 September and 1 October.
