EU conservatives join far-right to gut green rules

The European Parliament’s biggest political group, the centre-right European People’s Party (EPP), has teamed up with the far right to roll back major parts of the EU’s green corporate rulebook.

In Thursday’s (13 November) vote, 382 MEPs backed the EPP-led proposal, with 249 against and 13 abstaining.
