Recently retired Danes are the happiest people in Europe, according to data collected by the EU's statistical agency Eurostat. Bulgarians are the least happy.
On average, Europeans grade their life as 7.1 on a 10-point scale, Eurostat announced Thursday (19 March). The publication of the data has been timed for Friday's International Day of Happiness.
