Ukraine to abandon 'naive' EU strategy

Ukraine is ready to jettison its "naive" policy towards the European Union according to one of the country's leading pro-European ministers.

Under pressure to reaffirm the case for further EU-integration in the face of pro-Russian voices in the government and beyond, Oleksandr Chalyi, the Deputy First Minister for Foreign Affairs, told journalists late on Sunday (9 November) that Ukraine has come to a fork in the road.
