Kazakhstan president Nursultan Nazarbayev has said that his country is interested in buying shares in a Latvian oil terminal in order to enter the European market.
Mr Nazarbayev made the declaration on Tuesday (18 July) in a meeting with the Latvian president Vaira Vike-Freiberga.
"We want to enter the European market through Latvia," the Kazakh president said, according to AFP.
